Lenovo K8 Note Android Oreo 8.0.0 update

Today, I recieved Android Oreo 8.0.0 update on my Lenovo k8 note. Previously, I read a news of it coming in June but they have started to roll out the feature sooner. Here are few key points about this update -

1. Notification bar is white

2. Slider in Settings is gone

3. App notification preferences are fully controlled by users of app is upgraded to Android Oreo
4. Some little tweaks like showing battery percentage in status bar (it wasn't present for Lenovo K8 note running on Android 7.1.1
5. Most app icons are of round shape except few
6. A dot will be shown for unread notifications on app icon which is user controllable.

7. Look and feel of Emotions is changed

The biggest change that I have seen is LTE+ connection. I was previously using LTE of JIO but after this update I am seeing LTE+ connection which is faster than LTE.

Idea of an App "WA Stalker"

My idea is of making an application for knowing my friends are are online on WA (WhatsApp). Following are the details I thought about the application.

• We should be able to see WhatsApp contact list in WA Stalker with names of users and left and green/red circle on right to show the user is online or not.
• We should be able to make groups of different contacts like colleagues, friends, family members and we will be able to see if they are online or not.
• If WhatsApp makes changes like sending a message which wont appear not recipient's WhatsApp will help us to find if the internet connection of that user is on or not.

Applications of this App are following -

1. If you are in any emergency then you can see who are online so they can come ASAP.
2. Suppose you are planning to troll one of your friends then you can first check that the person to be trolled is online or not and you can tell your online friends to troll him. Making a group of your friends on WA Stalker will speed up this process.

These were small applications but you can use this app for 'n' number of applications.
