YouTube is nowadays considered a profession along with hobby since there for various ways to earn money through YouTube. In this article we will discuss about how to earn money in YouTube through advertisement.
To start earning money through YouTube, you need to first have tick mark following things.
- gmail account
- channel created through that gmail account
- at least one video uploaded through that channel.
Google Adsense is the agency owned by google which deals the advertisement business for websites (including YouTube). Now follow following steps and start earning through YouTube advertisement.
- open YouTube dashboard.
- Now click on channel in left side bar.
- Your monetization tab must be disabled. click on enable.
- click on setup Adsense.
- click on next.
- if you do not have an Adsense account then you can create it or log in through existing Adsense account.
- you should see the URL of your channel. Then you have to select the language of content on your channel.
- Click on accept association.
After doing above mentioned stuff, you shall redirect to you YouTube account page. Click on video manager on left sidebar. There you will see all the uploaded video of yours. click on dollar side of the right side of video to be monetized or click on edit video. You shall see few tabs like basic info, translation, monetization etc. Go to monetization and turn on monetization. Below that you can select different types of ads or all types of ads. If your video is of length more than 10 minutes then you can even decide where to place an advertise.
You can earn money through these ads as YouTube gives some share of it to you. General view of YouTubers is that you will get 1$ per 1000 views through ads but these figures changes as per YouTube policy, content type, advertisers, video and so many other things. Before starting earning through YouTube be aware of the things like do not include direct videos of other YouTubers without proper licensing, Do not spread hate speech so that your account will get banned because these things may cause permanent ban on your Adsense account.
