All the things affecting video views on YouTube

Video views or the rate at which views of video are rising are dependent on few things. These are the factors which affect the viewership of video. Following are the main factors affecting the viewership of YouTube videos.

Title of a video must be long enough for YouTubers who rarely upload videos because their most of the traffic is from searches and title of the video is one of the most important results to improve ranking in search results. But for YouTubers who are like daily vloggers or who uploaded videos regularly, they should have catchy title which will encourage viewer to click on it since their major part of views is from back links or suggestions.

Thumbnail:
Thumbnail defines the click-ability of your video. A clickable thumbnail can make any video go viral.
Tags:
They are the invisible but the most important factor in terms of search result ranking. Strong tags provide higher search rating. These tag rules can make your video go on the first page of search results.
Views:
Higher viewed videos tend to remain in the top of search result because higher views have proved that they are relevant to the search. Thus is the weak point of new YouTubers. This can be encountered by higher view increase rate. This requires proper use of back-links.
Back-links:
Back-links is the general terminology for blogs/websites. For YouTube it can be considered as social sharing. Share your videos on all possible social platforms. A subject with high comment/view ratio is considered as a controvertial video. If that video isn't promoting any illegal thing then those videos are preferred in YouTube's trending page. controvertial video's most probabily go viral.
Activeness of user:
Active users/creators are preferred by YouTube because they are interacting with viewers through comments which provides a better YouTube experience.
Average view duration:
All above mentioned factor can push your video to the front of search ranking but to sustain their, your video must have a very high average view duration. General video view duration is around 40%. If your average video view duration is above 65 then your video views' rate will always rise. If you are click-baiting (nothing common in video, title, and thumbnail) then your won't last long in the race. Even it will affect your other videos by loss of subscribers.
